Cincinnati State will host a 5K Run/Walk on October 18. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. The race starts at the front lawn of the ATLC and winds through the scenic Clifton and Clifton Hills communities and finishes back at the ATLC

This event is intended to promote health and fitness in the community and to help raise money for scholarships for deserving Cincinnati State students. The event will include the Surge for Scholarships 5K Run/Walk, a Fun Run for Kids and a Post-Race Celebration.

Participants don’t have to be a marathoner to be in the race. Participants of all running/walking abilities are welcome. In addition, there are volunteer opportunities.

Entry fee is $20 per person and $15 for Cincinnati State students. Call Student Activities 513 569-5747 for more information.
